The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck

The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck

Beatrix Potter

A quest
for the perfect nesting spot leads to an unlikely—and dangerous— friendship. Jemima
Puddle-Duck is annoyed because the farmer’s wife refuses to let her hatch her own
eggs. Determined to find a secret nesting place far from the farm, she sets off on a
journey over the hills. Deep in
the wood, she meets a charming, “sandy-whiskered” gentleman with a
long bushy
tail and a beautiful house. He kindly offers Jemima a shed full of soft
feathers to lay her
eggs. But this hospitable stranger has a hidden appetite, and Jemima is too
simple to see
the danger.

Can Kep
the collie and two fox-hound puppies reach the wood in time to save Jemima
from her “kind” new friend? Experience
Beatrix Potter’s beloved tale of persistence and peril, featuring vibrant new artwork.
