The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse

The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse

Beatrix Potter

A tiny
house, a very tidy mouse, and a never-ending parade of uninvited guests! Mrs.
Tittlemouse is a terribly tidy wood-mouse who lives in a mossy bank under a
hedge. Her
days are spent sweeping her passages and polishing her little tin spoons. But
keeping a house
“spotless” is hard work when you have neighbors like bees, spiders,
and a very damp toad
named Mr. Jackson who leaves muddy footprints everywhere!

From
the buzzing in the pantry to the sticky smears of honey in the hallway, Mrs. Tittlemouse’s
patience is put to the test. After a chaotic fortnight of spring cleaning, she
must find a
way to make her front door just a little bit smaller to keep the
“messy” visitors out for good.

Join
Mrs. Tittlemouse as she discovers that while a clean house is lovely, a
peaceful party
with friends is the best reward of all. Beatrix
Potter’s humorous and relatable story of perseverance and tidiness, accompanied by beautiful new artwork.
